FAQs

I specialize in tutoring various scientific disciplines, focusing primarily on biology and introductory general science courses. Additionally, I offer tutoring in several areas of chemistry, depending on your level and needs. If you have a specific subject in mind that is not mentioned here, please contact me, and we can discuss the possibility further.

Primarily, I offer tutoring services to junior and senior high school students (grades 7–12) and entry-level college students. However, I am also enthusiastic about supporting homeschool students and can provide consultation to parents regarding their science curriculum.

My operating hours are Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–8 p.m. However, specific times may vary depending on the day. I also offer tutoring on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please note that I do not operate on Sundays.

Sessions are charged by the hour. The price will be negotiated during the consultation session.

Yes, I do. In-person tutoring sessions can be arranged at a common public venue, such as a library or coffee shop, in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area and west of the Twin Cities. Online sessions are available as well.

My approach to tutoring is deeply personalized, drawing from many years of teaching and scientific research experience. I aim to make science accessible and engaging for all students, equipping them with the skills to understand complex concepts and the confidence to excel in their studies.
